Our mission
Helping women build a life beyond addiction.
The Place of Grace exists to impact lives with the love of Christ and teach life skills that help women recovering from addiction become healthy, productive members of their families and communities.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we provide a structured 6–8 month live-in setting where residents can focus on faith, healing, accountability, and the practical work of beginning again.
A personal calling
Jocelynn’s story
Founder, Director, and CEO Jocelynn James Edmonds knows the weight of addiction and the freedom of recovery firsthand. After addiction to prescription pain medication, incarceration, and rehabilitation, she surrendered her life to God and began a new chapter.
Jocelynn has been in recovery since November 5, 2012. Since 2013, she has helped connect people with recovery resources, and since 2014 she has served through jail ministry. The Place of Grace grew from that lived experience and a conviction that women need both a safe home and a practical, faith-filled path toward restoration.
